Over the last 25 years, Andrea Basso, has worked exclusively in the non-profit sector in a variety of senior level administrative position, in Connecticut and New York. Andrea served as the Special Assistant to the President of the JEHT Foundation, an organization funding programs dedicated to social justice and voting rights issues. She also had the opportunity to work with other non-profits, national and international in various capacities. Andrea then served as the Human Resources Director at the YMCA of Greenwich for almost 10 years. While at the YMCA she actively participated in supporting the implementation of the PBM program.
Andrea officially came on board on April 15, 2024. She is married and the mother of two adult children, both of whom also work in the non-profit world.
Andrea studied at New York University and became a certified English/Spanish Interpreter and Translator. She then created her own translation business which she ran for 10 years, working with banks, lawyers and courts, prior to her first position in the non-profit sector.
